Custom Injection Molding Services

Injection molding is the most cost-efficient way to produce plastic parts in volume — from functional prototypes to millions of parts. We run the full process in-house: mold design, DFM analysis, tooling, molding and quality inspection, so your project is controlled end-to-end under one roof.

WHAT WE OFFER

What We Offer

Standard Plastic Molding

Single-material molding for production parts — automated cycles, consistent process parameters and repeatable quality run after run.

  • Custom mold design
  • Automated production cells
  • In-process quality checks
  • Color matching & additives

Two-Shot Molding

Two materials or two colors molded into one part in a single cycle — ideal for soft-touch grips, sealing lips and multi-color aesthetics.

  • Multi-material in one cycle
  • Eliminates secondary assembly
  • Soft-touch & TPE combinations
  • Complex geometry support

Insert Molding

Plastic molded directly around metal inserts — threaded inserts, contacts and structural hardware encapsulated in one operation.

  • Metal-to-plastic integration
  • Threaded & stamped inserts
  • Strong mechanical bond
  • Reduces assembly cost

Overmolding

A second layer of material molded over an existing substrate for grip, sealing, insulation or protection.

  • TPE / TPV over rigid plastic
  • Sealing & gasketing features
  • Grip & comfort surfaces
  • Vibration dampening

HOW IT WORKS

From Inquiry to Delivery

1

Quote & DFM Analysis

Upload your 3D CAD; within 24 hours you get a full quote plus a free DFM report. Weld lines, sink marks and draft problems are flagged and fixed before any steel is cut.

2

Tooling Fabrication & T1 Samples

The mold is machined in our in-house tool shop, then physical T1 trial samples are molded and shipped with dimensional and process reports for your approval.

3

The Injection Cycle

Mold clamp → melt injection → packing → cooling → ejection repeats automatically. Cycle times of 20–60 s are typical; our thin-wall optical program held a 22 s cycle on a 0.8 mm wall part.

4

Mass Production & Real-Time QC

Automated presses hold stable process windows. Materials are tested, the process is monitored in real time, and parts ship under 100% inspection or statistical sampling.

5

Secondary Operations & Finishing

In-tool textures (VDI 3400), SPI mirror polishing to Ra 0.05 μm, pad printing, laser engraving, EMI/RFI shielding and electroplating are handled in-house.

6

Finishing & Global Logistics

Parts are packed and shipped from our plant to your dock. We manage customs documentation and deliver worldwide with tracked shipping.

CHALLENGES

Challenges This Service Solves

Sink marks

Thick sections shrink as they cool, leaving visible depressions on the surface. Caused by uneven wall thickness and insufficient packing.

Weld lines

Where melt fronts meet around cores or inserts, the junction shows a visible line with reduced strength.

Flash

Excess material squeezes out at the parting line, usually from worn tooling or excessive clamp pressure mismatch.

Short shots & warpage

Incomplete fill or uneven cooling produces voids and twisted parts — common with unbalanced runners or thin-wall geometry.

FAQ

Custom Injection Molding Services — FAQ

How much does a mold cost?

A simple rapid tool can cost a couple of thousand dollars; a high-cavity, high-volume automotive mold runs into the tens of thousands. Send the 3D file and get an accurate quote within 24 hours.

What is your MOQ?

Real unit-cost advantages start around 500 pieces; below that we recommend rapid tooling to keep the initial investment low. There is no hard threshold.

Who owns the tooling?

You do. If you paid for the mold, the tooling is 100% yours — we store and maintain it free, and you can pull it anytime.

What progress reports do I get during mold build?

Four milestones: DFM and 3D mold design approval, rough-machining photos, T0 trial schedule, and T0 samples with dimensional and process reports.

How do you handle design changes (ECN) after tooling approval?

Minor tweaks like adding a rib are often handled at cost or free; larger changes get a steel-modification plan and cost estimate immediately.

What if the mold wears out during production?

Molds carry a free warranty against normal wear within their designed lifespan; we monitor tool condition and do preventive maintenance before issues surface.

Can I transfer an existing mold to your facility?

Yes — we run a free mold condition assessment and give a detailed trial report, then put the tool straight into production.

What certifications do you hold?

ISO 9001 quality management, with ISO 13485 and IATF 16949 capability for medical and automotive programs. Certificates are shared on request.
