Mold Design & CNC/EDM Machining

Core and cavity machined in 3–7 days on 5-axis CNC and EDM at ±0.03 mm; cooling channels are laid out for cycle time and uniform shrink.

Polishing & Assembly

Mirror or textured finish applied to the cavity, the mold assembled, and critical dimensions CMM-checked to ≤0.02 mm before trial.

Trial Molding & Report

5–10 test shots on our Sodick presses; you receive a trial report with defect analysis, parameter adjustments and the improvement plan.

STEP (best), IGES and SolidWorks; 2D PNG/JPG drawings are not enough for mold construction.

How accurate are rapid molds?

Can you handle undercuts and thin walls?

Yes — side sliders for undercuts (about 15% extra tool cost), walls down to 0.5 mm, mirror finish to Ra 0.8 μm.
