Fiber Laser Marking (Metal)

2–50 W fiber laser engraving steel, aluminum, zinc, stainless and plated surfaces at 0.01–0.1 mm depth — permanent serials, logos and 2D codes.

CO2 Laser Engraving (Plastics)

High-contrast, sharp marks on ABS, PC, PA, acrylic and coated surfaces; ideal for logos, text and decorative graphics on molded parts.

UV Laser Cold Marking

Low heat input with 0.02–0.05 mm line width — marks sensitive polymers, glass and thin-walled parts without burn marks or discoloration.

Deep Engraving

0.1–0.5 mm cavity depth for permanent part identification, molds and tooling where the mark must survive wear and rework.

2D Data Matrix & QR Codes

Data Matrix (ISO/IEC 15415) and QR marking graded for readability — part-level traceability for medical, automotive and E/E programs.

What Is Laser Engraving?

Laser engraving uses a focused laser beam to mark a part surface by melting, vaporizing or chemically changing the material. Unlike printing or labeling, the mark is part of the surface itself — it cannot peel, fade or be removed, which is why laser engraving is the default for serial numbers, logos, QR codes and regulatory marks on parts that must be traceable for their entire service life.

Three laser types cover the full range of parts we produce. Fiber lasers engrave metals — steel, aluminum, zinc, stainless and plated surfaces — with dark, high-contrast marks. CO2 lasers mark plastics and coated surfaces with sharp, light-colored graphics. UV lasers work cold, making them safe for sensitive polymers, glass and thin-walled components. All three run with no consumables and no process chemicals, and marking adds no load to the part. Compared with pad printing or hot stamping, laser engraving offers unlimited flexibility — artwork can change between batches with a file update instead of a new die or plate. Frequently Asked Questions

Is laser marking permanent?

Yes. Laser engraving removes or chemically alters surface material, so the mark cannot be wiped, peeled or washed off — it survives cleaning, solvents and normal handling for the life of the part.

Can you laser mark after plating or painting?

Yes. We regularly mark plated, anodized and painted parts — the laser can either engrave through the coating or mark the bare substrate before finishing, depending on the required contrast and durability.

What is the minimum mark size?

Characters down to about 0.3 mm and Data Matrix codes from 1 × 1 mm are achievable with fiber and UV lasers, verified with a code reader before shipment.

Will laser engraving damage thin plastic parts?

UV lasers mark with very low heat input, which prevents burn marks, charring and micro-cracks on sensitive thermoplastics and thin walls. Fiber lasers are preferred for metals.

Do you support part-level traceability?

Yes. We can mark each part with a unique serial or Data Matrix code, link it to molding/machining data, and provide reading verification for IATF 16949 and ISO 13485 traceability requirements.
